Every second Saturday of the month, the historic centre of Portogruaro, in the Province of Venice, hosts the Antiques and Modern Design Market. Along the streets and squares of the "little Venice" of Eastern Veneto, stalls are set up by professional exhibitors and hobbyists, offering furniture, prints, ceramics, antique books, records, and curiosities from every era.
Among arcades, porticoes, and squares
The market winds through the charming city centre, between Piazzetta del Duomo, Piazza della Repubblica, Corso Martiri della Libertà , and the Liston, extending to Via Roma and Piazzetta della Pescheria. The stalls, generally open from morning to late afternoon, offer a pleasant walk in the shade of the medieval porticoes and along the banks of the Lemene river.
A tradition since 1998
Launched as an experimental event in 1998 thanks to the organization of the local Pro Loco (local tourism board) and now managed directly by the Municipality of Portogruaro, the market has become a regular and beloved fixture in the city's calendar, attracting collectors and visitors from all over the region.

The 2026 edition of the Antiques and Modern Design Market confirms its monthly schedule on the second Saturday in the historic centre of Portogruaro.
