A festival born around a dish
The Stuffed Gnocchi Festival is the gastronomic celebration of the Perola district, in Albino, province of Bergamo, organized by Trattoria Moro da Gigi. The star is clear from the name: stuffed gnocchi, a house specialty, which kicks off a feast of traditional Bergamo and mountain dishes.
What to eat
In addition to stuffed gnocchi, the menu offers casoncelli, pasta dishes with game, grilled meats, game, and polenta. Dinner is served every evening starting from 6:30 PM, while on Sundays the kitchen also opens at noon, from 12:30 PM. All in an outdoor space surrounded by greenery, away from the city traffic.
Festival, community, and solidarity
The festival is not just about good food: each edition is accompanied by entertainment and social and solidarity initiatives, in the spirit of a celebration that aims to bring the community together. Participation is free, with free and well-marked parking thanks to volunteers. It's a small but significant summer event for Albino, capable of drawing gourmets from all over the Seriana Valley to the Perola district.
Stuffed Gnocchi Festival — edition 2026
The 2026 edition, the sixteenth, will liven up the festival area on Via Bachelet from July 15 to 19. The kitchen opens every evening from 6:30 PM; on Sunday the 19th, also for lunch from 12:30 PM.
The stars are the stuffed gnocchi, accompanied by casoncelli, game pasta dishes, grilled meats, game, and polenta, in an outdoor area surrounded by greenery with free marked parking.
