The kitchens get moving

Every spring, Piazza Primo Maggio, in the heart of Udine, fills with aromas, music, and curious visitors: STREEAT Food Truck Festival arrives, defined as the first and original Italian traveling happening dedicated to street food on wheels. Ape cars, carts, vans, and trailers transform into genuine mobile kitchens, ready to serve gourmet sweet and savory dishes for five days of pure indulgence.

A world tour at the table

The selection of about twenty food trucks comes from all over Italy and abroad: from sheep arrosticini to Ascolana olives, from fried fish cones to hamburgers, up to Greek, Mexican, and Japanese street food offerings. To complete the experience, a selection of craft beers and a schedule of music and entertainment accompany the days.

A format by Barley Arts

STREEAT is organized by Barley Arts together with Zenit srl and Buono – Food & Events, in collaboration with the Municipality of Udine. Born as a traveling tour, the festival has made Udine one of its most beloved stops, with an audience that returns in large numbers each year to taste and vote for their favorite truck.

With free admission, the ample spaces of the square, and a gastronomic offer to suit every taste, STREEAT is the perfect event for families, friends, and good food lovers. An opportunity to experience the center of Udine in a festive atmosphere, between one wheeled specialty and another.
