The Station District Festival and Fair is now a well-established event in the summer calendar of Grottammare, a gem on the Riviera delle Palme in the province of Ascoli Piceno, in the Marche region. Every year, in mid-August, the Station district comes alive for three days of popular celebration that attracts residents, holidaymakers, and curious visitors from all over the area. Now in its XXIII edition in 2026, the event retains the genuine spirit of village festivals: spontaneity, conviviality, and a strong sense of community.
Music, flavors, and fun for everyone
The heart of the festival beats around Piazza Stazione, where the food stalls come to life every evening, opening from 7:00 PM, offering numerous local specialties and delicacies. Alongside the food, the program traditionally features musical evenings with popular bands and cover bands, capable of making the squares sing and dance until late at night.
The elements that have always characterized the festival are present:
- the market with stalls and crafts;
- the charity raffle, a highly participatory moment of solidarity;
- the grand lottery on the final evening, with a rich final prize that beautifully concludes the festivities.
A tradition made by the community
The festival is organized by the Station District Committee, made up of volunteers from the neighborhood who dedicate time and energy each year to the success of the event. It is precisely this dimension of popular participation that makes the festival an authentic moment of aggregation, where generations meet and the sense of belonging to the district is renewed.

XXIII Edition — August 16-18, 2026
The Station District Festival returns to Grottammare from August 16th to 18th, 2026, in Piazza Stazione, confirmed in the city's official 2026 summer program. For this edition too, the district prepares for three evenings of music, gastronomy, and fun for all ages.
As tradition dictates, the food stalls will be open from 7:00 PM with local specialties, the market, the charity raffle, and the grand lottery with the draw on the last evening. Admission is free.
The detailed music program with the names of the bands and show times will be communicated by the Station District Committee and the Municipality in the weeks leading up to the festival.

The 2026 dates are confirmed (August 16-18, Piazza Stazione), but the detailed program has not yet been published. It will be announced by the Station District Committee and the Municipality of Grottammare in the weeks preceding the event.
Based on the usual structure of the festival, each evening includes:

How to get there
By train: Grottammare railway station is located right in the district hosting the festival, on the Bologna-Ancona-Pescara-Bari Adriatic line.
By car: take the Grottammare-San Benedetto del Tronto exit from the A14 motorway, then head towards the center/promenade. A parking area is available nearby during the festival days.
Admission and times
Free admission to all events. Food stalls open from 7:00 PM. The lottery with the final prize draw takes place on the last evening.
