About Sportful Dolomiti Gravel
Gravel and Beer at the Foot of the Dolomites
The Sportful Dolomiti Gravel is a gravel bike granfondo set in the UNESCO Dolomites scenery, starting from Feltre and finishing at the Parco della Birreria Pedavena, in the province of Belluno. Organized by SSD Pedale Feltrino, it offers an off-road route through dirt roads, woods, and mountain panoramas, with live tracking and mechanical assistance along the route.
The Barley Festival for Companions and the Public
Designed for cyclists' companions but open to everyone, the Festa dell'Orzo transforms the Brewery Park into a large beer village. Featuring craft beer tastings, the Mr. Malt workshop dedicated to the art of brewing, games, pony rides for the little ones, and guided brewery tours, the day becomes a family celebration culminating in live music and evening DJ sets.
An Event Combining Sport and Brewing Tradition
The meeting of the gravel granfondo and the historic Birreria Pedavena—one of Italy's oldest breweries, founded in 1897—makes this event unique: the cyclists' arrival coincides with the beer festival, a combination that celebrates both athletic effort and the conviviality of the Belluno Dolomites.
Pedavena and Feltre
The event links two symbolic places of the Feltre area: Feltre, an elegant walled city, and Pedavena, famous for its brewery. Together, they offer the ideal setting for a weekend combining cycling, nature, and gastronomy in the heart of the Venetian mountains.
Sportful Dolomiti Gravel — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of the Sportful Dolomiti Gravel takes place from July 10 to 12, featuring the gravel granfondo through the UNESCO Dolomites and finishing at the Parco della Birreria Pedavena. Saturday is dedicated to the Festa dell'Orzo, which from 9:00 AM animates the park with the Mr. Malt workshop, tastings, games, and pony rides for children, guided brewery tours, and in the evening, DJ sets and entertainment. A day of celebration that welcomes the cyclists' arrivals between 11:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

Parco della Birreria Pedavena can be reached by car from Feltre in a few minutes. The nearest train station is Feltre, on the Padova-Calalzo line. The closest airport is Venice.
