About Spoleto Buskers Festival
The street becomes a stage
The Spoleto Buskers Festival transforms the historic center of Spoleto, in the province of Perugia, into a large open-air theater. For a few days between late April and early May, street artists from cities like Turin, Rome, Ancona, and Milan bring clowning, juggling, stilt walking, fire performances, and balancing acts to the squares.
Scattered performances in the center
The shows take place along the picturesque Giro della Rocca and in the squares of the center: Piazza del Mercato and Piazza del Comune. Performances are spread throughout the day, with daytime events in the squares and evening performances along the Giro della Rocca.
Quality street food
Accompanying the artists, a street food area with food trucks and curated gastronomic offerings, including certified gluten-free options. The event's goal is to combine entertainment, local area promotion, and quality experience.
A new spring event
Included in the "Accade in Primavera" (Happens in Spring) program of the Municipality of Spoleto, the Buskers Festival is a free event designed for families and curious people of all ages, anticipating the city's major summer cultural season.

The first edition
The Spoleto Buskers Festival debuts from April 30 to May 3, 2026, in the historic center of Spoleto. Street artists arrive from Turin, Rome, Ancona, and Milan with clowning, juggling, stilt walking, fire performances, and balancing acts, performing along the Giro della Rocca and in the Market and Town squares. The street food area, with food trucks and certified gluten-free options, opens on the evening of April 30.

How to get there
Spoleto is on the Rome-Ancona railway line; from the station, the historic center is reachable by mechanized walkways. By car: take the Spoleto exit from the SS3 Flaminia.
