Sorelle Festival is one of the most recognizable cultural events in the province of Ravenna: a distributed review that every year, throughout March, enlivens Faenza and the municipalities of Romagna Faentina with a program dedicated to contemporary art, feminist culture, and practices of freedom. Promoted by Associazione Fatti d'Arte Aps, the festival makes territorial diffusion one of its distinctive features, and among the cities involved is also Fusignano, in the province of Ravenna, in the heart of bassa Romagna.
The stop at Circolo ARCI Brainstorm
In Fusignano, the festival finds its home at the Circolo ARCI Brainstorm, in Piazza Arcangelo Corelli, one of the most vibrant associative spaces in bassa Romagna, active for over thirty years in cultural and social promotion. The Fusignano stop is designed as an evening event that combines reflection, conviviality, and music: a thematic talk followed by an aperitif and a musical set, according to the formula that characterizes the festival, capable of combining civil content and a conscious festive dimension.
Gender perspectives on sport
The 2026 edition brings the meeting Gender perspectives on sport to Fusignano, a reflection on body and sport amidst racial, gender, and class prejudice. The theme fits into the thread of the VII edition, the claim DIVE – Not out of vanity, but for truth, which runs through icons, female archetypes, and figures capable of transforming visibility into responsibility and the power of speech.
A distributed and free festival
The Fusignano stop is one of the four main stops of the festival, along with those in Faenza, Riolo Terme, and Lugo. Included in the program for International Women's Day on March 8th and sponsored by local authorities and the Emilia-Romagna Region, Sorelle Festival offers dozens of events with predominantly free admission, building a loyal and intergenerational audience that lives in Romagna and attends its events specifically for the quality of the proposals.

The Fusignano stop of Sorelle Festival 2026
The VII edition of Sorelle Festival opened its days also in Fusignano, with an event at the Circolo ARCI Brainstorm in Piazza Arcangelo Corelli. The event was part of the distributed program that, from March 1st to 29th, 2026, crossed Faenza, Riolo Terme, Lugo, Fusignano, and Gambettola, under the claim DIVE – Not out of vanity, but for truth. Overall, the 2026 edition exceeded 5,000 attendees.
The Fusignano meeting, Gender perspectives on sport, offered a reflection on body and sport viewed through racial, gender, and class prejudices, in line with the festival's vocation to combine civil insight with moments of sociality.

How to get there
Fusignano is located in the province of Ravenna, in bassa Romagna, along the axis connecting Lugo to Alfonsine. It can be reached by car from the state road or local connections; Fusignano train station is on the Lugo–Lavezzola line. The event venue is Circolo ARCI Brainstorm, Piazza Arcangelo Corelli 14, in the town center.
Times and admission
