Sonns y tradiziuns — which means "sounds and traditions" in Ladin — is a folk evening organized in Corvara in Badia, in the Autonomous Province of Bolzano, in Trentino-Alto Adige. This event is part of the rich summer calendar of Alta Badia and offers a chance to immerse yourself in the identity of the Ladin linguistic minority, one of the oldest and most fascinating cultures in the Alps.

Folk music and dances of Val Badia

The heart of the evening is dedicated to local traditional songs and dances. The stage features the folk dance group Uniun Bal Popolar Val Badia, performing traditional choreography in period costumes, accompanied by the Böhmische Badia musical group, which provides the area's signature melodies. The audience is guided through the customs, costumes, and curiosities related to mountain life and Ladin traditions.

The setting: Corvara and Alta Badia

Corvara is one of the main hubs of Alta Badia, a famous Dolomite resort at the foot of the Sassongher and the Sella Group. The evening takes place in the Sala manifestazioni F. A. Rottonara, at Str.
