Music, street food, and sports at Parco Ca' Ranuzza in Castelfranco Emilia
Slide Festival is one of the most beloved summer events in Castelfranco Emilia, a town in the Province of Modena, in Emilia-Romagna, along the historic Via Emilia between Modena and Bologna. For four days, Parco Ca' Ranuzza becomes the beating heart of the town's evening life: a large outdoor village with free entry where music, good food, sports, and socialising meet until late at night.
The festival is organised by the Slide Down Week association, made up of local young men and women, in collaboration with the Municipality of Castelfranco Emilia and with the support of numerous local businesses and organisations. What started as a village festival has grown over the years to become a regular fixture on Modena's summer calendar, attracting over fifteen thousand visitors over the four evenings in 2025.
Slide Festival traditionally takes place in June, at the beginning of summer, and its free entry formula makes it one of the most attended and popular events in the area. It's the ideal opportunity to enjoy a different kind of evening with music, flavours, and fun, just a few kilometres from Modena and Bologna.
The 2026 edition of Slide Festival takes place from Thursday, June 11th to Sunday, June 14th at Parco Ca' Ranuzza in Castelfranco Emilia, with four consecutive evenings starting at 6:00 PM and free entry.
Confirmed on the 2026 Summer program of the Municipality, the event offers its tried-and-tested formula: food trucks, markets, live music and DJ sets, and sports tournaments. Among the most anticipated attractions are the return of the Food Truck Festival, with regional and international street food specialities for lunch and dinner, and the historic 'calcetto saponato' tournament, now a symbol of the event.
Slide Festival 2026 takes place over four consecutive evenings at Parco Ca' Ranuzza, from June 11th to 14th, starting at 6:00 PM.
The detailed day-by-day program, including the names of guest artists and DJs, will be announced on the official social media channels of the Slide Down Week association in the weeks leading up to the event.
