SIGEP World is the most important international exhibition dedicated to the sweet foodservice and artisan bakery supply chains: gelato, pastry, chocolate, coffee, bakery, and pizza. Organized by Italian Exhibition Group (IEG) at the Rimini Expo Centre, in the municipality of Rimini, Emilia-Romagna, the exhibition has become a global benchmark for professionals in the artisan confectionery, professional equipment, and hospitality sectors.

Every January, the halls of Rimini Expo Centre host over 1,300 exhibitors showcasing products, ingredients, raw materials, technologies, furnishings, and packaging solutions for the entire supply chain. This is where new industry trends are born and established: from vegan gelato to functional creations, from mobile gelato shops to the most innovative pastry and coffee shop concepts. The event attracts buyers from dozens of countries worldwide through the Top Buyer Program and a busy schedule of business meetings.

The spectacular heart of SIGEP World lies in the competitions and championships that animate the exhibition arenas. Among the most anticipated events are the Gelato World Cup, coffee competitions, pizza challenges, the National Artisan Bakery Competition dedicated to baking, and numerous national and international finals that draw the world's best gelato makers, pastry chefs, bakers, baristas, and pizza chefs.

Access to SIGEP World is reserved for industry professionals: gelato makers, pastry chefs, bakers, baristas, pizza chefs, restaurateurs, distributors, buyers, and companies in the supply chain. It is not an event open to the general public, but the main B2B appointment of the year for those doing business in the artisan sweet sector.
SIGEP World — edition 2026
The 47th edition of SIGEP World took place from January 16 to 20, 2026 (Friday to Tuesday) at Rimini Expo Centre, reaffirming the event's role as a global hub for the sweet foodservice industry. With over 1,300 exhibitors and a 33% increase in international participation compared to the previous edition, the exhibition welcomed buyers from 75 countries through the Top Buyer Program, bringing approximately 500 buyers to Rimini, led by those from the United States, India, Canada, and Brazil. India was the Guest Country of the edition. New participating countries included Canada, Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Ecuador, Estonia, Serbia, Singapore, Nepal, and the Czech Republic.

Getting there
By train: Rimini station, connected to major Italian cities; during SIGEP, special offers and dedicated connections to the exhibition center are often available (Rimini Fiera stop on the Adriatic line). By car: Rimini Nord exit from the A14 motorway; ample parking at the exhibition center, with potential traffic during peak hours. By plane: Rimini-Miramare airport a few kilometers away, or Bologna and Forlì as alternative airports.
Opening hours and tickets
Visitor hours: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM. Admission is exclusively for industry professionals, with online registration and ticket purchase recommended. Indicative prices for the 2026 edition: day ticket starting from €49 pre-sale (€75 thereafter), two-day pass from €85 pre-sale (€110 after).
