The grand parade uniting seven towns in the Lower Feltrino area
The Setteville Carnival is the grand carnival parade that unites seven locations in the Lower Feltrino area: Vas, Quero, Fener, Alano, Campo di Alano, Colmirano, and Uson. The name itself – 'Setteville' – tells the story of its origin: to make seven towns into a single festive community. The event was born from the union of the historic carnivals of Quero and Alano and takes place between the municipalities of Alano di Piave and Quero Vas, in the province of Belluno.
What makes this Carnival special is its travelling nature: the floats and costumed groups do not stay in one place but traverse the entire territory, starting from Vas and visiting the squares of Quero, Fener, Alano, and Colmirano one after another, culminating in the final parade with awards in Campo di Alano. Each stop is a festival within a festival, with choreography, music, and the enthusiasm of the local communities.
Behind the day of celebration is months of work by the float groups and the Pro Loco associations of Alano di Piave and Quero Vas, who each year create new floats on current events, cinema, and fantasy themes. The Setteville Carnival is thus an authentic expression of popular participation, a shared heritage that strengthens the bond between the towns in the Piave valley.
The 2026 edition of the Setteville Carnival took place on Sunday, February 15, bringing the entire territory of the municipalities of Alano di Piave and Quero Vas to life. The travelling parade of floats and costumed figures crossed all the squares, from Vas to the conclusion in Campo di Alano.
Five floats, the result of the work of local float groups, competed, with choreography and music at each stage of the route.
Competing floats (5): 'Macchie in festa – una carica di allegria' (Alano), 'Willy Wonka – the chocolate factory' (Quero), 'Vivere a colori' (Alano), 'Fateci spazio' (Colmirano), 'Chalet Quermayeur' (Quero).
Alano di Piave and Quero Vas can be reached by car along the Piave valley, between Feltre and Valdobbiadene. On parade days, traffic changes may occur in the affected hamlets.
Free access to the parade.
The parade takes place during the Carnival period (February).
