The Monfenera Chestnut Market Exhibition is the great autumn festival of Pederobba, in the province of Treviso, dedicated to the Marrone del Monfenera IGP. This prized chestnut, grown on the slopes of the Monfenera hill overlooking the Piave valley, is a Protected Geographical Indication product that represents the gastronomic identity of the foothills.
A tradition spanning half a century
Organized by the Pro Loco of Pederobba, the producers' association, and the Alpini group, the market exhibition has been held since 1974 and is one of the longest-running autumn festivals in the Marca Trevigiana. The 50th edition took place in 2025: an important milestone that testifies to the festival's deep roots in the local calendar.
Roasted chestnuts, flavors, and celebration
The heart of the event is the food stand with cooked chestnuts, roasted chestnuts, seasonal dishes, and typical local products.
