Three free days dedicated to Italian football in the heart of Parma
For three days, Parma becomes the capital of Serie A: the Festival della Serie A is the event through which Lega Serie A brings Italy's top football league out of the stadiums and into the historic squares and buildings of the Emilia-Romagna capital. Founded in 2024, the event has quickly established itself as the early summer gathering that brings together champions, coaches, executives, referees, and journalists to talk about Italian football with the public, in an open and completely free format.
Everything is concentrated in Parma's historic center, in the provincial capital of the same-named province in Emilia-Romagna, with the city's symbolic locations transformed into stages: the Teatro Regio, the Portici del Grano, Piazza Garibaldi, the Palazzo della Pilotta complex, and the cultural spaces of the center, all within walking distance of a few hundred meters.
The heart of the event consists of panels and in-depth discussions, organized in multiple thematic rooms and dedicated to the major themes of contemporary football: from the transfer market to youth academies, from women's football to technology, and the stories of past legends. These are complemented by more spectacular and popular moments:
The Serie A Festival is designed to be accessible to everyone: admission is free and access to the panels is open until capacity is reached. All major events are also broadcast live streaming on the Lega Serie A website, app, and YouTube channel, reaching fans who cannot be present in Parma.
The organization is managed by Lega Serie A in collaboration with the Emilia-Romagna Region, the Municipality of Parma, and the event's partners. For those who love Italian football, it's the perfect opportunity to meet the league's protagonists up close and experience the city of Parma, a capital of Emilian gastronomy and culture, during a festive weekend.
The third edition of the Serie A Festival was held in Parma from Friday, June 5 to Sunday, June 7, 2026, with free admission and venues concentrated in the historic center: Teatro Regio, Portici del Grano, Piazza Garibaldi, Piazza Ducale, and Palazzo della Pilotta. The program's core featured 24 panels spread across two thematic rooms, the Sala Scudetto and the Sala Coppa Italia.
Among the most anticipated moments were the presentation of the Enilive Serie A 2026/2027 calendar at the Teatro Regio and the traditional awards for Italian football legends, with the special event Legendary Player dedicated to Alessandro Del Piero. In Piazza Garibaldi, the Fan Zone enlivened the days with entertainment and TV sets, while the Portici del Grano hosted an open stage and a photographic exhibition curated by Giorgio Van Straten, president of the Alinari Foundation for Photography. There was also space for digital football with the Kings League and eSerie A competitions.
Parma station is on the Milan-Bologna railway line, with frequent high-speed and regional connections; from the station, the historic center and the festival venues are a short walk away. By car, Parma is served by the A1 (Milan-Naples) and A15 motorways.
Admission to the festival and access to the panels are free, subject to availability. Some events may require accreditation or booking through the official Lega Serie A website.
All venues are concentrated in Parma's historic center, within a few hundred meters: it's best to get around on foot. For those who cannot attend, the main events are broadcast live streaming on the Lega Serie A website, app, and YouTube channel.
