A tradition that announces spring in Valconca

The Fiera di Sant'Ubaldo is one of the most cherished events in the calendar of Mercatino Conca, a small municipality in Montefeltro overlooking Valconca, in the province of Pesaro and Urbino. Linked to the figure of Sant'Ubaldo, whose feast day is May 16th, the fair is traditionally held on the Sunday following the anniversary and has for years enlivened the spring of the village with a mix of tradition, taste, and entertainment for all ages.

The village transforms into a large market

From the early hours of the morning, colorful stalls of the fair line via Roma and via Matteotti, while in Piazza Verdi, stands of flowers and garden plants are set up, in perfect spring style. The traditional market offers goods of all kinds, local products, and the lively atmosphere of ancient village fairs, a meeting place for the inhabitants of Valconca and visitors from neighboring municipalities.

Flavors, music, and activities for everyone

The convivial heart of the day are the food stands managed by the Pro Loco of Mercatino Conca, where you can taste traditional dishes and local delicacies. Alongside the market, the festival offers live music and DJ sets, a painting competition, games, and inflatables for children, as well as events like the car rally and amateur tournaments that have enriched the program in recent editions. The evening before, on Saturday, the anticipation of the fair already ignites with an evening of music and good food in the company of the Pro Loco.

Included in the Regional Calendar of Fair Events of the Marche, the Fiera di Sant'Ubaldo retains the value of an authentic popular festival, capable of bringing the community together around its patron saint.
