Two days of celebration in the green of Sant'Osvaldo Park in Udine
The Sant'Osvaldo Spring Festival is the neighbourhood festival that every year, in mid-May, enlivens the large Sant'Osvaldo Park, a green lung on the southern outskirts of Udine. Organized by the 400 Sant'Osvaldo Association with the support of the Municipality of Udine, it has become an anticipated event for the residents of the district and for families from all over the city, eager to spend two days outdoors.
The festival combines sport, nature, and conviviality: tournaments, movement activities, nature walks, games, and entertainment for the little ones alternate over the two days. In the evening, the park comes alive with live music and food stalls, while on Sunday a guided walk leads to the discovery of the nearby Cormor Park. An opportunity to rediscover the city's green spaces and the value of community gatherings.
Behind the Spring Festival is the work of the volunteers of the 400 Sant'Osvaldo Association, who have been committed for years to enhancing the neighbourhood and its park. The event is designed as a moment of socialisation open to all, where families, children, and the elderly come together in the green to share games, good food, and music. For those seeking the most genuine, neighbourhood-friendly Udine, this is an event not to be missed.
