The Easter festival in Valpolicella
"Sant'Ambrogio in Festa" is the Easter festival of Sant'Ambrogio di Valpolicella, in the province of Verona, in the heart of the Valpolicella wine region. The event takes place between late March and Easter Monday, transforming the town's fairground into a large festive space with a music stage, amusement park, wine area, food stands, and dance floors.
Sports, music, and fun
The festival opens with the "A piè fra le piare con gli amici" running race, a walk-run along the trails and "piare" (the characteristic stone quarries) of the area. In the following days, there are musical evenings for all tastes: tech-house DJ sets, '90s and 2000s dance, disco, and electronic music, culminating in the grand finale on Easter Monday.
Pasquetta Live Fest and gastronomy
The highlight is Easter Monday, with the "Pasquetta Live Fest": a musical marathon from afternoon to evening, accompanied by malga gnocchi and barbecues. Among the typical flavors, the wine area dedicated to Valpolicella and the food stands, the festival is an opportunity to experience the festive spirit of the Veronese community at the beginning of spring.
Sant'Ambrogio in Festa — edition 2026
The 2026 edition kicks off on Sunday, March 29 with the running race and continues from Friday, April 3 to Monday, April 6 (Easter Monday) with musical evenings, DJ sets, a motorcycle rally, and the grand finale of the Pasquetta Live Fest. The fairground hosts a stage, amusement park, Valpolicella wine area, and food stands. Free entry.
