The Sandrigo Carnival is one of the most spectacular parades of floats in the Vicenza area. Now in its 62nd edition, it attracts masked groups and floats from all over the Veneto region, with impressive sets, light effects, and choreography that liven up the streets of the town. Between evening parades, food stalls, and entertainment for children, it is an event eagerly awaited by the entire community.

A tradition over sixty years old

The Sandrigo Carnival, in the province of Vicenza, is one of the most cherished carnival events in the Vicenza area. Now in its 62nd edition in 2026, it is organized by the Municipality of Sandrigo and attracts floats and masked groups from all over the Veneto region, who parade through the town's streets in a riot of colors, music, and fantasy.

Spectacular floats and evening parade

The heart of the carnival is the grand evening parade of floats, which runs from Piazza Garibaldi through the center. The floats, built by groups from all over the Veneto region, are distinguished by their spectacular sets, light effects, and accompanying choreography, offering a captivating spectacle in the evening darkness.

A celebration for all ages

Alongside the parade, stalls offer hot drinks, chocolate, and the unmissable carnival fritters. For the little ones, there will be circus performers, DJs, face painting, and workshops, making the Sandrigo Carnival a celebration designed for families and children, as well as for float enthusiasts.

How to get there

Sandrigo is located about 12 km north of Vicenza. By car from SP248 or from the A31 (Dueville exit). The parade starts from Piazza Garibaldi and crosses the center.
