About Cittadella dei Balocchi
Two days for the little ones
Cittadella dei Balocchi is the festival of Cittadella (province of Padua) entirely designed for children and families. For an entire weekend in September, the historic center of the walled city is filled with theatre performances, creative workshops, entertainment, street artists, and games, in a festive atmosphere that involves both young and old.
Shows, games, and workshops
The program offers over fifteen activities with about twenty exhibitors: theatre performances (from Pinocchio in the Venetian dialect to the "magic school", to animated storytelling), interactive games and competitions, manual workshops (kite making, wood carving, paper crafts), carousels, pedal go-karts, face painting, and plenty of street food for delicious breaks. In case of rain, activities will move indoors.
A community celebration
Organized by Febo Teatro APS, the event has surpassed 50,000 total visitors in its first four editions, becoming one of the most beloved family events in the Alta Padovana region.
