San Francesco Fair

A fair with deep roots

The San Francesco Fair is a long-standing event held in Tiarno di Sotto, a village in the Municipality of Ledro, in the province of Trento, in the heart of the Trentino-Alto Adige region. Originally established as an annual market and community celebration, it has been revitalized over the years by the Pro Loco Tiarno di Sotto, transforming it into a true celebration of the typical products and dishes of the Ledro Valley.

The day's program

The historic center of Tiarno di Sotto, closed to traffic, comes alive from morning until evening with a rich calendar of events in Piazza San Giovanni Bosco and the village streets:

• Traditional market from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, featuring exhibitors of local products, crafts, and regional specialties;
• Musical entertainment from 11:30 AM, accompanying the morning festivities;
• Gastronomic tour starting at noon, a tasting journey through local traditional recipes (booking recommended);
• DJ aperitif from 6:00 PM, concluding the day in a convivial atmosphere.

Climbing the bell tower

One of the most captivating experiences is the opportunity to climb the village bell tower for free, with guided tours at 10:00 AM, 2:00 PM, and 4:00 PM: from the top, you can enjoy a unique view of the Ledro Valley and the surrounding mountains.

Flavors and traditions of the Ledro Valley
