The Salento National Vespa Rally is one of the most popular Vespa events in Puglia, organized by the Vespa Club Alezio-Salento ASD in the town of Alezio, a small center in the province of Lecce just a few kilometers from Gallipoli. Part of the Vespa Club d'Italia circuit, the rally attracts hundreds of enthusiasts from across the peninsula every summer, turning the Salento town into a meeting point for those who love the legendary two-wheeler from Pontedera.

Two days of Vespa spirit

The event takes place over a weekend and revolves around the headquarters set up in Largo Costituzione, in front of the Town Hall, where the Vespa Village is established for registrations, gadgets, and refreshments. The heart of the event is the scenic tour through the beauty of the territory: the historic center of Gallipoli, the Ionian coast, the sanctuaries, and the Salento countryside become the backdrop for long caravans of vintage and modern Vespas.

There is also plenty of room for BMX freestyle stunt shows, which over the years have brought national and international riders to Alezio for high-adrenaline performances.
