About SaintVincenTango

Every spring, SaintVincenTango transforms the Aosta Valley into the capital of Argentine tango. Three days of milongas, workshops, performances, and live concerts attract international dancers, maestros, and musicians. For its fourteenth edition, the festival, organized by the Artetango association, takes place in the Perolles dance halls in Châtillon, awaiting the return to the Palais in Saint-Vincent.

Argentine Tango in the Aosta Valley

SaintVincenTango! is one of the most important Argentine tango festivals in the Alps. Born in Saint-Vincent and organized by the Artetango association of Aosta, its 2026 edition takes place in Châtillon (Aosta Province), in the Perolles dance halls, located right near the highway exit. The Châtillon venue has been chosen for the second consecutive year while awaiting the completion of renovations at the Palais in Saint-Vincent, where the festival is expected to return in 2027.

Three Days of Tango in 360 Degrees

The festival's program intertwines all facets of tango:

  • Evening and night Milongas, the pulsating heart of the event, where you can dance until late at night
  • Workshops and courses taught by international maestros, for all levels
  • Performances by world-renowned dancers
  • Live Concerts with tango orchestras and ensembles

Each year, the festival hosts top-tier international dancers and musicians, accompanied by DJs specializing in selecting music for the tandas. It's an eagerly awaited event for enthusiasts from all over Italy and neighboring countries.

A Passion That Has Lasted Over Twenty Years

SaintVincenTango is the expression of the Artetango association, an Aosta Valley entity that has been promoting Argentine tango culture in the region for over twenty years. The festival represents the highlight of this activity and helps make the Aosta Valley, and particularly Châtillon and Saint-Vincent, a reference point for tango in Northwestern Italy.

SaintVincenTango — edition 2026

The fourteenth edition of SaintVincenTango takes place from April 24 to 26, 2026, in the Perolles dance halls in Châtillon. Three days of milongas, workshops, performances, and live concerts with international maestros and musicians, including stars Lucila Cionci and Rodrigo 'Joe' Corbata, and the ensembles Hyperion Ensemble, Sondertango Cuarteto, and Entre Mundo Cuarteto.

The fourteenth edition of SaintVincenTango is held from Friday, April 24 to Sunday, April 26, 2026, in the Perolles dance halls in Châtillon, for the second consecutive year away from the Palais in Saint-Vincent, which is under renovation. The festival once again makes the Aosta Valley the capital of Argentine tango, with milongas, workshops, performances, and live concerts that attract dancers and enthusiasts from all over Italy.
