Christmas Lights at the Bard Fort

The Christmas Lights at the Bard Fort show is a well-established event during the Christmas period in the Aosta Valley. For the 2026 edition, based on previous years, the Piazza d'Armi will once again come alive with the immersive 360° video mapping between December and Epiphany, accompanied by Santa's Village, hot drinks, entertainment, and workshops for the little ones. The theme and precise dates for the 2026 edition will be communicated by the organization in the autumn.

The theme and detailed dates for the 2026 edition will be announced by the Forte di Bard Association closer to the holidays. Based on recent editions, the format includes:

• 360° video mapping show in the Piazza d'Armi, with evening projections starting around 5:30 PM until the Fort closes
• Santa's Village with hot drinks, Christmas sweets, and entertainment
• Workshops and activities for children
• Possible suspension of projections on certain festive dates (in previous years: December 15, 22, and 25)

How to Get There

By car: A5 motorway, Pont-Saint-Martin or Verrès exit, then SS26 state road to Bard. The Fort has parking and panoramic elevators.

Opening Hours and Tickets

The projections generally start at 5:30 PM and continue until the Fort closes. The light show is included in the Fort's entrance ticket (required to access the museum or exhibitions). Information: +39 0125 833811, [email protected].
