About Saint Valentine's Fair
Over three centuries of tradition
With its 315th edition in 2026, the Saint Valentine's Fair is one of the oldest and most deeply rooted events in the Verona area. It is held in Bussolengo, a populous municipality in the plain west of Verona, and celebrates the patron saint Saint Valentine with five days of festivities that intertwine faith, tradition, and commerce.
A celebration for the whole town
The program is rich and involves the town squares: from the funfair in Piazzale Vittorio Veneto to the Bussolengo Antica antique market, from the craft market of typical products to the characteristic Saint Valentine's train, up to the concerts of the Bussolengo City Band. The official inauguration, with authorities and celebratory moments, is traditionally held in Piazza 26 Aprile.
Devotion and identity
The fair originates from the popular devotion to Saint Valentine, patron saint of Bussolengo, and over time has become an event of identity for the entire community. Organized by the Municipality of Bussolengo together with the Pro Loco, it is free to enter and attracts visitors from all over the province of Verona.
Saint Valentine's Fair — edition 2026
The 315th edition of the Saint Valentine's Fair animated Bussolengo from February 12 to 16, 2026. The patronal feast opened on February 12th with the concert by the Bussolengo City Band; on Saturday, February 14th, the patron saint's day, the official inauguration took place at 10:30 AM in Piazza 26 Aprile. Throughout the fair, the funfair in Piazzale Vittorio Veneto (open from January 31st to February 15th), the Bussolengo Antica antique market, the craft market of typical products, and the characteristic Saint Valentine's train enlivened the historic Veronese center. Organized by the Municipality of Bussolengo and the Pro Loco.
