The parade of allegorical floats of San Giorgio delle Pertiche
The Saint George's Carnival is the historic Carnival festival of San Giorgio delle Pertiche, in the province of Padua, organized by the local Pro Loco. For decades, it has been one of the most attended carnivals in the Camposampierese area, capable of involving the entire community and neighboring towns.
The highlight is the parade of allegorical floats and masked groups along the town's streets: colorful and spectacular creations, the result of months of work by the float builders, parade accompanied by music, choreography, and masks of all kinds, to the delight of young and old.
Alongside the parade, the program offers shows, a funfair, the awaited lottery draw, and the fireworks display that concludes the festival. A Carnival that combines tradition, fun, and community spirit in the heart of the Paduan Veneto.
The 46th edition of the Saint George's Carnival enlivens San Giorgio delle Pertiche during the Carnival period of 2026. Organized by the Pro Loco, it features the grand parade of allegorical floats and masked groups, alongside shows, a funfair, a lottery, and fireworks.
The detailed program with times and the parade route will be published by the Pro Loco. The usual structure of the event includes:
Center of San Giorgio delle Pertiche (PD).
During the Carnival period (February).
Pro Loco San Giorgio delle Pertiche, Via Pinaffo 9.
