The Sagra di Bionde of Salizzole
In Bionde, a hamlet of the municipality of Salizzole in the province of Verona, the summer festival has been an eagerly awaited event for over twenty years. The Sagra di Bionde, organised by the Giovani all'arrembaggio association, takes place at the Sports Centre behind the church and for five evenings fills the town with music, dancing, and the aromas of Veronese cuisine.
Between ballroom music, revival, and vintage cars
The programme alternates between ballroom orchestras — which get the crowds dancing with waltzes, mazurkas, and polkas — and revival evenings with DJ sets and dance groups dedicated to the hits of the '60s, '70s, '80s, and '90s. There is also the traditional vintage car rally on Sunday morning, dance performances, and displays by majorettes and flag-throwers. The food stand is open every evening, with lunch service also available on Sundays.
A community celebration
The Sagra di Bionde is above all a community celebration: born and grown thanks to the commitment of the association's volunteers, it has become a landmark event of the summer in the Bassa Veronese, successfully blending the tradition of Veronese ballroom dancing with the energy of younger, more modern evenings.
Sagra di Bionde — edition 2026
The Sagra di Bionde returns in early June 2026 to the hamlet of Bionde di Salizzole. The five-evening format at the Sports Centre behind the church is confirmed, with the food stand open every evening and also for lunch on Sundays. The programme includes ballroom orchestras, revival evenings with DJ sets dedicated to the music of the '60s, '70s, '80s, and '90s, the traditional vintage car rally on Sunday morning, and performances by dancers, majorettes, and flag-throwers. Free admission.

The detailed schedule for the 2026 edition, including precise dates and orchestra names, will be released by the Giovani all'arrembaggio association on their official Facebook page shortly before the event. Each year, the festival follows this five-evening structure:
Typical evening structure
- Opening evening with performances by majorettes, twirling groups, and flag-throwers, followed by live music (funky/dance/rock bands)
- Revival evening with DJ set and entertainment
- Sunday: vintage car rally in the morning, dance shows and ballroom orchestra in the evening
- '90s and 2000s revival evening with DJ
- Final evening with a major ballroom orchestra
Food stand open every evening from 8:00 PM; also open for lunch on Sundays.
