The Sagra della Barbozza in Cerqueto
In the hamlet of Cerqueto di Gualdo Tadino, in the province of Perugia, between the end of June and the beginning of July each year, the Sagra della Barbozza e delle Carni alla Brace (Festival of Pork Cheek and Grilled Meats) takes place, one of the most beloved gastronomic festivals in the Upper Umbria region. The absolute star is the 'barbozza', pork cheek, a delicious local specialty, accompanied by tasty grilled meats.
Village Cuisine and Live Music
The food stand, managed by the Pro Loco Cerqueto (local association), opens every evening from 7:30 PM, offering traditional Umbrian dishes. Each evening is enlivened by dance orchestras and musical groups, with tribute bands dedicated to the great names of Italian music, attracting an audience of all ages.

How to get there
Cerqueto is a hamlet of Gualdo Tadino (PG), reachable from the SS3 Flaminia road. By train, get off at Gualdo Tadino station on the Rome–Ancona line, then continue by car.
