The Sagra del Brasadé is held in Staghiglione, a hamlet of Borgo Priolo, in the heart of Oltrepò Pavese (Province of Pavia). The star is the brasadé, the typical ring-shaped biscuit of Oltrepò: a simple recipe, born in peasant homes, that tells the culture and craftsmanship of the area.
Ancient ovens and local flavours
The heart of the festival is the baking of the brasadé in ancient ovens, carried out in collaboration with ENAIP of Voghera according to the traditional recipe. Around it, food stalls with local specialities, picnic areas, a pizza corner, and the local market with artisans and zero-km producers. There is also an exhibition of vintage tractors and cars, recalling the agricultural history of the area.
Awards, culture, and music
The day is marked by events: the "Brasadé d'Oro" ceremony, an award for artisanal quality, dog shows and bingo organised by the association L'Arca degli Animali, guided tours of the Church of San Lorenzo Martire and the Pieve dei Malaspina, culminating in a panoramic aperitif among the vineyards with a DJ set. A blend of gastronomy, tradition, and landscape that makes this festival a small jewel of Oltrepò.

The Sagra del Brasadé 2026 takes place on Sunday, May 10, in the hamlet of Staghiglione, in Borgo Priolo, in the Oltrepò Pavese.
From 11:00 AM, with the ribbon-cutting ceremony, a day dedicated to the typical ring-shaped biscuit begins: baking in ancient ovens (in collaboration with ENAIP Voghera), food stalls, local market with artisans and zero-km producers, exhibition of vintage tractors and cars. Among the events are the 2nd edition of the "Brasadé d'Oro" award, dog shows and bingo by L'Arca degli Animali, guided tours of historic churches, and a panoramic aperitif among the vineyards with a DJ set.
