Rumors Festival – Illazioni Vocali is the music festival dedicated to the voice and the avant-garde that enlivens the summer in Verona. The concerts take place in the evocative setting of the Roman Theatre, the ancient theatre overlooking the Adige river, as part of the Verona Summer Theatre Season organised by the Municipality of Verona.

Big names in international music

Under the artistic direction of promoter Elisabetta Fadini, the festival has brought internationally renowned artists to Verona: in its editions, among others, Patti Smith, Tony Bennett, Rufus Wainwright, Rag'n'Bone Man, Ute Lemper, Tony Hadley, as well as Italian performers like Carmen Consoli, Vinicio Capossela, and Francesco Gabbani have performed.

Between concert and experimentation

The programme intertwines great voices, musical experimentation, and authorial suggestions, in a showcase that enhances the relationship between the performer and the audience in the intimate and monumental setting of the Roman Theatre. The voice, in all its variations, is the common thread of each edition.
