Verona Jazz is the historic jazz festival that enlivens the Roman Theatre of Verona every summer, as part of the Veronese Summer Theatre Season promoted by the Municipality. The ancient tiers of the Augustan-era theatre, overlooking the Adige river and San Pietro hill, provide a natural backdrop for evenings of great music under the stars.

Verona Jazz's programming brings legends and protagonists of the international scene to the city: from the historic masters of American jazz to the most innovative voices on the contemporary scene. The concerts, concentrated into a few evenings in late June and early July, make the festival one of the most anticipated events of Verona's musical summer.

From June 30th to July 2nd, 2026, Verona Jazz returns to the Roman Theatre with three evenings of great international jazz, part of the Veronese Summer Theatre Season. A programme that intertwines historic masters and new voices, in the monumental setting of the Roman theatre overlooking the Adige.

How to get there
The Roman Theatre is located on the left bank of the Adige river, at the foot of San Pietro hill. It is reachable on foot from Verona's historic centre by crossing Ponte Pietra.
Tickets
Concert tickets are on sale through the Veronese Summer Theatre Season circuits (Ticketmaster and the box office). Some concerts may offer free admission.
