Verona Jazz is the historic jazz festival that animates the Roman Theatre of Verona every summer, as part of the Veronese Summer Theatre programme promoted by the Municipality. The ancient tiers of the Augustan-era theatre, overlooking the Adige River and San Pietro hill, provide a natural backdrop for evenings of great music under the stars.

Verona Jazz's programming brings legends and protagonists of the international scene to the city: from the historic masters of American jazz to the most innovative voices of the contemporary panorama. The concerts, concentrated in a few evenings at the end of June and the beginning of July, make the festival one of the most anticipated events of the Veronese musical summer.

Included in the Veronese Summer Theatre – the historic summer season of drama, dance, and music that has enlivened the Roman Theatre for decades – Verona Jazz confirms the musical vocation of a city that, alongside the opera at the Arena, offers an international-level jazz programme in a unique monumental setting.
Verona Jazz — edition 2026
From June 30 to July 2, 2026, Verona Jazz returns to the Roman Theatre with three evenings of great international jazz, part of the Veronese Summer Theatre season. A lineup that blends historic masters and new voices, within the monumental setting of the Roman theatre overlooking the Adige.

How to get there
The Roman Theatre is located on the left bank of the Adige River, at the foot of San Pietro hill. It is reachable on foot from Verona's historic centre by crossing Ponte Pietra.
Tickets
Concert tickets are on sale through the Veronese Summer Theatre circuits (Ticketmaster and the box office). Some concerts may offer free admission.
