Romeo and Juliet's Summer in Verona
Juliet Summer Fest is the summer Shakespeare festival organized by Casa Shakespeare in Verona, the city of Romeo and Juliet. The event takes theatre outside conventional venues, conquering the historic center and the city's walls, where young actors perform the most famous scenes from the Shakespearean tragedy.
Widespread Theatre Among the City's Stones
The festival accompanies the public through Verona's symbolic locations with live and streaming performances. Among the initiatives are itinerant performances involving students from Veronese schools and young people from the Casa Shakespeare company, and theatrical walks «Walking with Romeo and Juliet», with access to the Shakespeare Interactive Museum.
Young Protagonists and New Generations
The heart of the project is the involvement of new generations: students and young actors, selected through casting, become protagonists of the scenes from Romeo and Juliet, in a journey that combines training, theatre, and the enhancement of the city''s heritage.

Part of the broader annual project «Shakespeare 2026» promoted with the Municipality of Verona, Juliet Summer Fest helps make the Scaliger city a reference point for Shakespearean culture, intertwining theatre, tourism, and identity in the name of the most famous love story of all time.
Juliet Summer Fest — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of Juliet Summer Fest, the 12th, enlivens Verona's summer with the widespread Shakespearean theatre of Casa Shakespeare, within the annual «Shakespeare 2026» project. Young actors and students from Veronese schools interpret scenes from Romeo and Juliet in the city's symbolic locations and along the walls.
Among the events are the itinerant performances of the «Giulietta & Romeo Re Life» project and theatrical walks with access to the Shakespeare Interactive Museum. The complete schedule is announced by Casa Shakespeare in the preceding months.

- July 16-21 — «Giulietta & Romeo Re Life»: itinerant streaming performance with students from Veronese schools and young people from the Casa Shakespeare company
- July 23, 10:30 AM — «Walking with Romeo & Juliet», theatrical walk in English with access to the Shakespeare Interactive Museum, starting from Corte Mercato Vecchio
- Live performances in the symbolic locations of Verona's historic center and along the walls
