For the eleventh edition, scheduled for Saturday, June 20, 2026, around the summer solstice, participating villages will switch off public lighting to make way for torches, lanterns, soft lighting, and themed corners, while the streets become open-air stages for live performances, cultural itineraries, and food and wine experiences.

Among the featured villages in Tuscany is Palazzuolo sul Senio, a small jewel of the upper Mugello in the Province of Florence. The theme chosen for 2026 is 'Love for Memories', an invitation to rediscover one's roots, traditions, and the flavors that unite different generations. The symbol of the event remains the famous midnight kiss, a moment that seals the evening in all participating villages every year.

Included in the list of the Most Beautiful Villages of Italy, Palazzuolo sul Senio rises in the upper Senio valley, at an altitude of about 440 meters, in a border position that has shaped its history and identity, suspended between Tuscan and Romagna culture.
