The best craft beers from Romagna in the heart of Cesena
The Romagna Beer Festival is the event that enlivens the historic center of Cesena every spring, in the province of Forlì-Cesena, in the heart of Emilia-Romagna. Born from the initiative of the Mosaic Craft Beer Pub, the festival has won over a loyal audience in just a few editions, becoming one of the most curated showcases for Romagna craft beer. The event takes place along Via Cesare Battisti, near the pub, in a section of the street closed to traffic to welcome exhibitors and visitors.
The heart of the event is the craft beer exhibition and market, organized like a true trade fair with a limited number of selected exhibitors. Each brewery sets up its own stand outside the pub, with the brewer present in person: a valuable opportunity for visitors to interact directly with the producers about processing techniques, raw materials, inspirations, and styles of the beers offered. The goal is to promote the best brewing realities of the territory, rewarding quality and production tradition.
In addition to tastings, the festival offers a rich supporting program designed to engage a diverse audience:
The atmosphere is lively, inclusive, and convivial, capable of transforming the center of Cesena into a large open-air lounge where beer culture meets social interaction.
Romagna has boasted a constantly growing microbrewery scene for years, and the Romagna Beer Festival fits into this ferment as a meeting point for producers, enthusiasts, and the curious. Visiting the festival also means discovering the historic center of Cesena, with its Piazza del Popolo, the Rocca Malatestiana fortress, and the renowned Malatestiana Library, a UNESCO World Heritage site. An ideal weekend to combine a passion for good beer with the discovery of one of Romagna's most evocative art cities.
The fourth edition of the Romagna Beer Festival enlivened the historic center of Cesena on Friday, May 8, and Saturday, May 9, 2026. Along Via Cesare Battisti, near the Mosaic Craft Beer Pub, a section of the street was closed to traffic to welcome stands, exhibitors, and visitors starting from 4:00 PM.
