A new square for a brand-new festival
Roletto in Piazza is the inaugural edition of the summer festival promoted by the Municipality of Roletto, a town nestled at the foot of Monte Muretto in the Noce Valley, within the Metropolitan City of Turin (Piedmont). The event was created to bring life to the recently inaugurated Piazza Luigi Tessore, transforming it into the beating heart of the town's cultural and social life throughout the summer season.
What to expect
From June to September 2026, the square becomes an open-air stage every Thursday evening. The program is intentionally diverse and suitable for all ages: open-air cinema featuring family-friendly titles and international films, theater performances, stand-up comedy, and cabaret, as well as shows specifically for children. In case of bad weather, events will be moved to the marquee at Via Roncaglia 1, ensuring the evening always goes ahead.
For families and the community
The common thread of the festival is conviviality: it kicks off on June 5th with the Friendship Festival, celebrating the end of the school year with a barbecue hosted by the Pro Loco and a family film screening, followed by a variety of weekly events. All appointments offer free admission and start at 9:00 PM.
From the heart of summer to the Patronal Feast
The festival accompanies residents and visitors throughout the summer, culminating in the traditional Patronal Feast in early September, which serves as the ideal season finale. Roletto in Piazza is organized by the Municipal Administration together with the Pro Loco of Roletto: a project that highlights the new square and the desire for community connection in this small town in the Pinerolo area.

The inaugural edition of Roletto in Piazza takes place from June to September 2026, with weekly Thursday appointments in the recently inaugurated Piazza Luigi Tessore. In case of bad weather, events move to the marquee at Via Roncaglia 1. The festival is organized by the Municipality of Roletto and the Pro Loco.

Friday, June 5th — Friendship Festival
Opening of the festival in the marquee at Via Roncaglia 1, celebrating the end of the school year.
- 7:30 PM — Barbecue hosted by the Pro Loco (ribs and sausage, reservation required, tel. +39 345 3017289)
- 9:00 PM — Open-air screening of the family film "Clifford the Big Red Dog" (free admission)
Thursdays in Piazza Luigi Tessore
Shows start at 9:00 PM, free admission:
- Stand-up comedy with Giulia Pont — "La ragazza con la lavastoviglie di perla"
- Screening of the film "Gioia mia" by Margherita Spampinato
- Theater performance "Da Torino ad Adelaide"

- July 2nd — "Tom & Jerry", show for children
- July 9th — Monologue by Daniele Ronco
- July 23rd — "Pedalando tra le storie"
- July 30th — Grand Summer Finale Party, with live music and shows
International cinema nights are also scheduled throughout the season.
September
The festival concludes in conjunction with the traditional Patronal Feast, from September 3rd to 6th.
