Rock Cover Parade: The competition that ignites Volpiano's summer

The Rock Cover Parade is one of the most anticipated events of the summer in Volpiano: a music competition entirely dedicated to young bands that, for two consecutive nights, brings the center of Volpiano—a town in the Province of Turin and the heart of the Canavese plains in Piedmont—to life. The event is free for both performers and spectators, and over the years, it has become a benchmark for emerging local groups.

How the competition works

The competition's format is simple yet challenging: each band must perform several covers, choosing tracks from different artists belonging to different decades. This formula pushes young musicians to engage with a wide variety of repertoires, from classic rock to more contemporary sounds, testing their versatility and chemistry. A jury evaluates the performances and announces the winners, who receive prizes designed to support their musical journey, such as vouchers for instruments and equipment.

The Rock Cover Parade was born from the desire to offer local youth a real stage, complete with professional sound and lighting, where they can experience the thrill of playing in front of an audience. The initiative is organized by the Club House association with the patronage of the Municipality of Volpiano. Over the years, it has seen a steady increase in the number of participating bands and spectators, cementing its status as one of the most vibrant musical events of the summer near Turin.

Where and when

The evenings take place outdoors in the center of Volpiano, with a stage set up in the main square. The 2026 edition, the eleventh, is scheduled for July 3rd and 4th: two nights of free live music suitable for all ages, where you can discover the rock talents of tomorrow.
