Punk rock returns to the beach of Bellaria-Igea Marina

Road to Bay Fest is the evolution of Bay Fest, the festival that since 2014 has made Bellaria-Igea Marina, on the coast of the province of Rimini, one of the European capitals of summer punk rock. For the 2026 edition, the format changes: no longer a concentrated weekend, but a spread-out showcase of six evenings, distributed between July and August, accompanying the audience throughout the summer until the grand finale on Ferragosto. The headquarters remains Beky Bay, the establishment on the free beach of Via Alfonso Pinzon, where concerts take place just a few steps from the Adriatic Sea.

A lineup between legends and new voices

The 2026 edition brings together some of the most beloved names in the international punk rock scene along with emerging bands. Among the announced headliners are Dropkick Murphys, Rise Against, Less Than Jake, Strung Out, and The Get Up Kids, joined by bands like Therapy?, Hot Water Music, Madball - heirs of the hardcore scene, H2O, Suicide Machines, A Wilhelm Scream, Belvedere, Bad Nerves, Militarie Gun, Western Addiction, and The Corps.

• August 13: Pool Party at Mapo Club with a tribute to NOFX and Freesass

Space for Italian bands

A historic feature of Bay Fest is the annual contest for emerging Italian bands, selected to open the evenings alongside international headliners. In 2026, the winners Parigi, Nelav, M Experience, Lillians, Still No One, and Freesass will take the stage, confirming the festival's attention to the underground scene in our country.

A punk summer in Emilia-Romagna

Organized by Hub Music Factory, Road to Bay Fest is much more than a series of concerts: it's a gathering for fans who come every year from all over Italy and abroad, attracted by the unique atmosphere that combines live music, the sea, and a sense of community. The setting of the Romagna Riviera, with its beaches and traditional hospitality, makes Bellaria-Igea Marina and Emilia-Romagna the ideal destination to experience punk rock outdoors, under the Adriatic stars.
