The Summer New Year's Eve

Nicknamed the "Summer New Year's Eve", the Pink Night is the grand festival that since 2006 has welcomed the arrival of the warm season along the entire Romagna Riviera, from the Po Delta to the coastal Romagna. Riccione, a pearl of the Province of Rimini in Emilia-Romagna, has always been one of its most sparkling epicenters: here, pink, the event's symbolic color, tints squares, beaches, shop windows, and skies for an entire weekend.

A widespread celebration in the heart of Riccione

The focal point of the Riccione evenings is Piazzale Roma, which transforms into a large open-air stage for concerts and dance galas. However, the celebration is not confined to one place: it invades the promenade, the famous Via Ceccarini, the beach, and the squares, involving families, young people, and curious onlookers in one great collective celebration. At midnight, the pink fireworks display simultaneously illuminates the entire coast, from Comacchio to Cattolica, offering one of the most anticipated and photographed moments of the event.
