About Reading with Zeka Cintra
A book that teaches inclusion
The Reading and Creative Workshop with Zeka Cintra is an event for children hosted at the Children's Reading Centre in Guglionesi (province of Campobasso), at Via Roma 41. The protagonist is Zeka Cintra, illustrator of the book "Il Corvo Postino" by writer Isabel Cintra, for which he created the illustrations: a story that invites children to look beyond colour, borders, and differences.
Live reading and workshop
After the live reading of the book — which tells the story of Geppino the crow, who dreams of flying alongside the white doves — Cintra guides the children in a creative workshop, designed to stimulate imagination and manual skills. An activity that combines storytelling and creativity, values such as tolerance and equality, and the pleasure of working with colours and materials.
The Guglionesi Reading Space
The initiative is supported by the Pro Loco Colleniso and is part of the project for the new Reading Space for minors, an educational hub established in Guglionesi to offer young people a place to grow together through books, in a Lower Molise village attentive to childhood culture.
Reading with Zeka Cintra — edition 2026
On February 28, 2026, at the Children's Reading Centre in Guglionesi (Via Roma 41), a lively reading of "Il Corvo Postino" was held with illustrator Zeka Cintra, followed by a creative workshop to stimulate children's imagination and manual skills. The initiative was supported by Pro Loco Colleniso, as part of the new Reading Space for minors.
