Puglia's biggest Easter Monday celebration: 8 stages, over 200 artists, and 15 hours of non-stop music in Gallipoli
On Easter Monday, the Raffo Parco Gondar in Gallipoli, located in the heart of Salento in the province of Lecce, comes alive with the Easter Monday Festival: the celebration that officially marks the start of the great Puglian summer season. Spread across approximately 50,000 square meters, the event features 8 themed stages, over 200 artists performing live and DJ sets, and a full 15 hours of non-stop music from morning until late at night.
The beauty of the Easter Monday Festival lies in its variety: each stage tells a different sonic story, and the audience is free to wander between the park's various areas. You can drift from the Mediterranean and folk sounds of the Pineta to the techno marathon in the Hangar, from the reggae and dancehall vibrations of the Sound System to the independent music of the Palco Natura, and finally to the sonic revolutions of the Quercia and the electronic parties at the Terrazze and Kinza. It is a true artistic village where Salento meets musical trends from all over Italy.
Parco Gondar is designed for all ages. Alongside the concerts, you will find an amusement park, a kids' area with children's shows and a playroom, an acrobatic circus with street performers and jugglers, a relaxation area with yoga and massages, vintage markets, a street art and writing contest, and plenty of sports activities like beach volleyball, five-a-side football, and ping pong.
The culinary offerings are worthy of the event: gourmet street food, local food trucks, ethnic kitchens, rotisseries, pizzerias, diners, and large picnic areas where you can sit between stages. The Easter Monday Festival is more than just a concert; it is an entire day to be lived immersed in the park's nature, with the sea of Gallipoli just minutes away and the unmistakable energy of Salento welcoming the start of the warm season.
