Radici - Artistic Aperitif is an event that blends art, wine, and live music within the lush setting of the Roman countryside. Launched in 2023 by Coccio e Calici, a boutique restaurant with just thirty seats in the village of Sacrofano, the event takes place at the Centro Ippico Il Pineto on Via di Pineto and celebrated its fourth consecutive edition in 2026. The format is a classic early-summer afternoon-to-evening experience: a freely accessible group exhibition, guided tastings with local winemakers, open art workshops, and a sunset concert.

The visual heart of the event is the group exhibition, which is free to enter and open throughout the festival without the need for reservations. The exhibition path explores diverse techniques and sensibilities, including painting, mosaic, ceramics, jewelry making, and photography, featuring works by local artists and artisans. The goal is to offer the public direct contact with local creative expressions in an informal setting that interacts with the equestrian center's spaces.

Wine and territory: the tasting

The tasting experience is curated by Coccio e Calici, which for the 2026 edition invited Cantina Raparelli and Cantina Cifero. The producers personally introduce their wines to guests, sharing stories about their land and production choices—an approach that turns a glass of wine into a learning opportunity, in line with the restaurant's philosophy of sourcing from small, carefully selected labels. The tasting aperitivo includes a food box and two glasses of wine.

Live music at sunset

The event's soundtrack is provided by live music: the 2026 edition featured Miguel Jimenez Diaz, whose jazz and bossa nova sounds were perfectly tailored to the sunset atmosphere over the countryside. The music is not merely background noise but an integral part of the project, weaving artistic languages into a single, convivial experience.

Artistic workshops

The program includes practical workshops open to participants: mosaic with Giuliana Stramacci, watercolor with Francesca Aristei, and mixed-media art with Catia Culiani.
