A series of talks at the Auditorium Parco della Musica featuring leaders in innovation, design, and fashion
The Contemporary Creativity Lessons are a series of events held at the Teatro Studio Borgna within the Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone, located in the Flaminio district of Rome. Created to introduce the general public to the languages and crafts of Italian and international creativity, the sessions bring leading figures in art, architecture, design, photography, and fashion to the stage, inviting them to share their experiences in a direct dialogue with the audience.
The project is promoted by the Directorate-General for Contemporary Creativity of the Ministry of Culture, in collaboration with the Fondazione Musica per Roma and the Fondazione De Sanctis. Its stated goal is to explore the role of contemporary creativity across various disciplines, demonstrating that the creative process is not merely an innate talent but a skill that can be trained, designed, and applied in many fields, from cultural enterprise to daily life.
Each session is led by a guest who retraces their professional journey: the roots of their vocation, cultural references, turning points, and present-day challenges. Designed as open lectures rather than specialized conferences, these meetings bring students, enthusiasts, and the curious closer to creative professions using accessible yet substantial language.
Hosted in one of the primary cultural hubs of the Municipality of Rome and the Lazio Region, the series is part of the programming at the Auditorium designed by Renzo Piano, a symbolic space for the capital's cultural life. The Contemporary Creativity Lessons represent an opportunity to reflect, within the Roman context, on how creativity contributes to imagining and building the future, engaging the wider public and new generations.
In 2026, the Contemporary Creativity Lessons return to the Teatro Studio Borgna of the Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone in Rome for their third edition, consisting of five meetings spread between spring and autumn. The common thread is the relationship between creativity, design, fashion, and cultural and creative enterprises.
The 2026 series confirms the format of previous editions: each appointment entrusts a guest with the story of their journey, including inspirations, work methods, and their vision of the future. The cycle is promoted by the Directorate-General for Contemporary Creativity of the Ministry of Culture with the Fondazione Musica per Roma and the Fondazione De Sanctis.
The complete program, including the names of all participants, is being progressively published on the official channels of the Auditorium and the Directorate-General for Contemporary Creativity.
