The Quistello Flower Festival
The Flower Festival, also known as the Spring Festival, is one of the most beloved events of spring in Quistello, a municipality in the province of Mantua in the Oltrepò Mantovano region. It takes place on a Sunday morning and afternoon in April in Piazza Cesare Battisti, in the heart of the historic centre, and is organised by the Municipality of Quistello together with the Pro Loco and local associations.
The horticultural market exhibition
The heart of the festival is the large horticultural market exhibition: from the morning, the square fills with many varieties of flowers and ornamental plants for the garden, with stands from sector exhibitors. Alongside the flowers, there are stands for local crafts.
Workshops, bikes, and flavours
The programme offers a rich calendar of initiatives dedicated to creativity and green culture: the cycleflower tour, a bike ride starting from the library, workshops such as Kokedama, an inflatable area for children, and refreshment points with local specialities — gnocco fritto, risotto with sausage, agnoli in broth, and panino with cotechino, offered by Pro Loco and local clubs. A day that combines nature, gastronomy, and conviviality, confirming the vibrancy of the Municipality of Quistello and the Mantua plain.

The 2026 edition of the Quistello Flower Festival is confirmed for Sunday, April 19, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, in Piazza Cesare Battisti in the town's historic centre. A day dedicated to flowers, plants, creativity, and green culture, featuring the large horticultural market exhibition, workshops, cycling activities, a children's area, and refreshment points with Mantuan specialities. Organised by the Municipality of Quistello, the Pro Loco, and local associations.

Sunday, April 19, 2026 — Piazza Cesare Battisti (9:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
- From 9:00 AM — Horticultural market exhibition with many varieties of flowers and ornamental plants for the garden
- 9:30 AM — Cycleflower tour (approx. 15 km) starting from the library, organised by the La Zerla cooperative, with a workshop to decorate bikes and a parade with awards
- 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM — Kokedama Workshop
- Inflatable area for children
- Local craft stands
- Refreshment points and takeaway food: gnocco fritto (Circolo Arci Laghi Margonara), risotto with sausage, agnoli in broth, and panino with cotechino (Pro Loco), and other specialities from local partners
