"Natale a Legnago" is the Christmas calendar that the Municipality of Legnago offers every year in the historic center, with Piazza Garibaldi as the heart of the celebration. For about a month, from the beginning of December until January 6th, the city of Basso Veronese comes alive with lights, markets, concerts, shows, and initiatives for families.
Legnago On Ice and the Markets
The main attraction is the "Legnago On Ice" ice skating rink, set up in Piazza Garibaldi, alongside the Christmas market, food stalls, and typical product stands. The program includes the tree lighting ceremony, the arrival of Santa Claus, nativity scene exhibitions created by schools, magic and entertainment shows, choir and band concerts, puppet theatre, and tastings.
From the Holidays to Befana
The events involve the historic center and squares of Legnago (province of Verona) throughout the Christmas period, until the traditional Epiphany celebration on January 6th, with Befana as the protagonist of the final days of the festivities.
