About Christmas in Legnago

From the Immaculate Conception to Epiphany, the center of Legnago dresses up for the holidays: the "Legnago On Ice" skating rink in Piazza Garibaldi, the Christmas market, concerts, nativity scenes, and family shows animate the holiday weeks. A widespread program, organized by the Municipality of Legnago, that accompanies young and old from the tree lighting to Befana.

Christmas in the Lower Veronese City

"Natale a Legnago" is the Christmas calendar that the Municipality of Legnago offers every year in the historic center, with Piazza Garibaldi as the heart of the celebration. For about a month, from the beginning of December until January 6th, the city of Basso Veronese comes alive with lights, markets, concerts, shows, and initiatives for families.

Legnago On Ice and the Markets

The main attraction is the "Legnago On Ice" ice skating rink, set up in Piazza Garibaldi, alongside the Christmas market, food stalls, and typical product stands. The program includes the tree lighting ceremony, the arrival of Santa Claus, nativity scene exhibitions created by schools, magic and entertainment shows, choir and band concerts, puppet theatre, and tastings.

From the Holidays to Befana

The events involve the historic center and squares of Legnago (province of Verona) throughout the Christmas period, until the traditional Epiphany celebration on January 6th, with Befana as the protagonist of the final days of the festivities.

Christmas in Legnago — edition 2026

For Christmas 2026, Legnago also plans the usual holiday program: the "Legnago On Ice" skating rink in Piazza Garibaldi, the Christmas market, concerts, nativity scenes, and family shows, from the tree lighting to the Befana celebration.

The 2026 edition of Christmas in Legnago will again feature the ice skating rink in Piazza Garibaldi, the Christmas market, and a program of concerts, shows, and nativity scene exhibitions in the historic center. The detailed schedule will be published by the Municipality in the weeks preceding Advent.
