The prose season in Milazzo

The quiNteatro Theatrical Season is the winter prose festival that brings the Teatro Trifiletti of Milazzo, in the province of Messina, Sicily, to life. Promoted by the quiNteatro Association and artistically directed by Giuseppe Pollicina, the season spans the entire cold season, from October to March, offering a varied program that ranges from auteur theater to brilliant comedy, and from civil monologues to grand musical holiday shows.

A well-established festival

Now in its eighth edition for 2025/2026, quiNteatro has established itself as one of the most popular cultural events in the Milazzo area and the Tyrrhenian side of the Messina province. The artistic direction focuses on the quality of the artists and the originality of the proposals, bringing well-known names from the Italian stage and screen to Milazzo, alongside Sicilian productions and shows designed for families.

The Teatro Trifiletti

The heart of the festival is the Teatro Trifiletti, a historic city theater overlooking the center of Milazzo, just a few steps from the seafront and the port. Its intimate hall creates a direct connection between actors and the audience, a quality that perfectly suits a program of prose, comedy, and storytelling.
