About Quarti Festival

Quarti Festival is the major summer event held in the village of Quarti, Pontestura, nestled in the heart of the Monferrato region in the province of Alessandria. Organized by the Polisportiva Quarti Association since 2006, the festival transforms the local Green Area into a vibrant hub for eight nights of live music, tribute bands, DJ sets, and culinary specialties. Originally launched as a beer festival, it has evolved into one of the most anticipated events of the Piedmontese summer, offering free admission and a warm, community-driven atmosphere that draws visitors from across the region.

Quarti Festival: Summer in Monferrato

The Quarti Festival is the summer highlight that has been bringing the village of Quarti, in the municipality of Pontestura (Alessandria), to life for nearly twenty years. Located in the heart of the Piedmontese Monferratoโ€”a land of rolling hills, vineyards, and deep-rooted convivialityโ€”the Polisportiva Quarti Association turns its Green Area into a bustling festival village every July.

A History Rooted in Beer

Launched in 2006 as a simple local beer festival, the Quarti Festival has grown year after year into a structured eight-night event that masterfully blends music, gastronomy, and entertainment. What began as a local gathering is now a landmark event for the entire Casale Monferrato area, attracting families, young people, and live music enthusiasts alike.

Eight Nights of Live Music

The program features an eclectic mix of tribute band concerts, shows, themed evenings, and late-night DJ sets. Some of the most beloved and recurring festival highlights include:

  • the high-energy disco band Explosion, famous for their spectacular light shows and choreography;
  • Asilo, the iconic Vasco Rossi tribute band;
  • the tribute to Max Pezzali and 883, consistently one of the most popular nights;
  • the Cuban Mojito Party, featuring Cuban cuisine, reggaeton, and cocktails;
  • themed nights dedicated to the 90s and indie music.

Every evening kicks off at 8:00 PM with the opening of the bar and kitchen, while concerts and DJ sets keep the energy high until late.

Beer, Food, and Conviviality

Gastronomy is a cornerstone of the Quarti Festival. The stalls serve gnocco fritto with cured meats and cheeses, gnocchi with ragรน, grilled meats, pinsa, and traditional desserts, all washed down with plenty of beer, cocktails, and service from the American-style bar. It is a simple, authentic culinary experience designed for sharing a great evening with friends.

A Classic Piedmontese Village Festival

The Quarti Festival is a perfect example of the traditional summer festivals of Piedmont: a self-funded event managed by the volunteers of the Polisportiva, with free admission, focusing on community and hospitality. For those visiting Monferrato in summer, it is the ideal opportunity to discover the authentic, convivial spirit of this land through great music, food, and joy.
