Gaiarine's autumn in the sign of the pumpkin, with gastronomy, art, and vintage cars
The Pumpkin Festival is the autumn event of Gaiarine, a town in the eastern Marca Trevigiana in the province of Treviso. It takes place between the last two weekends of October and the first of November, transforming the town into a major event dedicated to pumpkins and seasonal flavors.
The heart of the festival are the food stalls, with typical dishes of the cold season: cod, tripe, and the characteristic pumpkin frico, served in the heated marquee in Piazza Municipio. There are also roasted chestnuts and convivial moments that mark the festive weekends.
Alongside gastronomy, the festival offers art and photography exhibitions (at Palazzo Zacchi and in the barchesse), musical performances, crafts, literary events, and an exhibition of vintage cars and tractors. Among the most popular events are the Pumpkin March, a non-competitive walk through the countryside, and the traditional parade. Organized by Gaiarine in Festa APS with the support of the Municipality and local associations, the festival attracts over 2,000 visitors each year.
The Pumpkin Festival is a recurring event in Gaiarine (Treviso) for many years: the 27th edition took place in autumn 2025, between the last two weekends of October and the first of November. The new 2026 edition is expected in the same autumn period.
Organized by Gaiarine in Festa APS, the festival offers food stalls with seasonal flavors, art and photography exhibitions, musical performances, crafts, vintage car exhibitions, and the traditional Pumpkin March. Precise dates are announced by the organizers shortly before the event.
