For a few days, the town centre comes alive with stalls, aromas, and music, in an event that the Pro Loco Salgareda dedicates to the authentic flavours of the Venetian tradition.
Chestnuts, wine, and Venetian cuisine
The heart of the festival is the steaming roasted chestnuts, accompanied by local wines, Venetian cuisine dishes, homemade sweets, honey, and local cured meats. A gastronomic stroll that tells the story of the countryside and its seasons.

Autumn Festival of Salgareda — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of the Autumn Festival along the streets of Salgareda, the sixth, enlivens the town centre from November 7th to 15th, 2026. The Pro Loco Salgareda brings back the formula that has made the event popular: a gastronomic journey through roasted chestnuts, local wines, and Venetian specialties.
Alongside the food stalls, there are craft markets, folk shows, and live music, creating a festive atmosphere spread throughout the streets of the Treviso village.

Salgareda can be reached by car from the SR53 Postumia; the nearest motorway exit is Cessalto (A4). By train, the nearest station is Oderzo or Treviso, with onward travel by bus.
