Veneto Wine Stars

The stars of Veneto wine in Conegliano

Veneto Wine Stars is the event that celebrates the best of regional wine production in Conegliano, in the province of Treviso, a symbolic city of Italian enology where the oldest Enological School in the Country is located. Born in 2021 as the heir to the traditional September grape festival, the exhibition has quickly established itself as the main event dedicated to excellent Veneto wines.

The EnoConegliano competition

The heart of the event is the EnoConegliano — Selection of Veneto Wines enological competition, organized by the EnoConegliano Cultural Enological Association ETS with the patronage of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Sovereignty and the Municipality of Conegliano, with the technical support of the Italian Association of Enologists. The competition accepts quality DOC, DOCG, IGT wines, and sparkling wines from Veneto; the awarded labels are then offered for tasting to the public during Veneto Wine Stars.

Tastings, masterclasses, and wine culture

The program alternates tasting stands with winning wines, thematic masterclasses led by sommeliers and enologists, seminars, and themed tournaments. Among the proposals of recent editions: focus on indigenous grape varieties of women winemakers, the encounter between Veneto and Champagne, Pinot Noir, PIWI wines, and the Manzoni 6.0.13 grape variety, as well as the blind tasting challenge "The Blind" and the EnoDama eno-game tournament. There are also a food truck area and moments of conviviality.

Italian Wine City

The 2026 edition is part of Conegliano's journey as Italian Wine City 2026-2027, a title that further enhances the enological vocation of the Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG territory, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
