A festival born from the heart of a district
The Porchetta and Wild Boar Pappardelle Festival is one of the most anticipated food and wine events in Monte Urano, a municipality in the province of Fermo in the Marche region. Organized with passion by the volunteers and residents of the Scala Santa district, the festival takes place every year at the end of May in the green area of Via De Gasperi, transformed for the occasion into a large outdoor party space.
The star flavors
The heart of the event is its menu, dominated by wild boar pappardelle and porchetta, served by the plate and for takeaway, prepared according to recipes that the district has guarded for years. Alongside the main dishes, the stalls offer numerous specialties of the Marchigiana tradition:
- Galantina
- Mixed grills with sausages and chops
- Ascolana olives
- French fries and salad
Every evening, there is also a crepe truck to end the evening on a sweet note.
Music and entertainment every evening
The festival is not just about good food: every evening is enlivened by live music, dancing, and shows. The 2026 edition, the nineteenth, featured karaoke with the XGarden kids and DJ Frank to open, a concert by the band Secondo Tempo, a dancing evening with Frank David, and an afternoon performance by Roberto Carpineti's Top Dance Band. A program designed to engage families, young people, and fans of popular tradition.

Now in its nineteenth edition in 2026, the festival is a fixed date on the spring calendar for Monte Urano and the entire valley. Porchetta and Wild Boar Pappardelle Festival — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of the Porchetta and Wild Boar Pappardelle Festival animated the Scala Santa district of Monte Urano for four days, from May 28 to 31. The food stalls offered wild boar pappardelle, porchetta, galantina, mixed grills, Ascolana olives, and French fries, with a crepe truck present every evening.
The entertainment program was also rich: Thursday 28, opening at 7:30 PM with karaoke by the XGarden kids and DJ Frank; Friday 29, concert by the band Secondo Tempo at 9:30 PM; Saturday 30, Holy Mass at 6:00 PM and dancing evening with Frank David at 9:30 PM; Sunday 31, lunch and dinner service with a performance by Roberto Carpineti's Top Dance Band from 4:30 PM.

The festival is held in the green area of Via Alcide De Gasperi, in the Scala Santa district of Monte Urano (FM), in the Marche region.
How to get there
By car: take the Porto Sant'Elpidio exit from the A14 motorway, then follow signs for Monte Urano (approx. 10 km). By train: Porto Sant'Elpidio station on the Adriatic line, with onward travel by bus or taxi to the hinterland.
Opening hours and admission
Food stalls generally open at 7:30 PM for dinner; on Sundays also for lunch. Free admission, you only pay for what you consume.
