Five evenings of free live music at Parco IV Novembre in Pordenone
When late August arrives, Parco IV Novembre in Pordenone becomes the meeting point for live music lovers. Music in Village, with over thirty years of history, is one of the longest-running and most beloved festivals in Western Friuli: five evenings of concerts with free admission featuring reggae, rock, indie, and new acts, in a popular and family-friendly atmosphere.
Organized by the Associazione Culturale Complotto Adriatico, the festival has built a precise identity over the years, alternating well-known national and international headliners with spaces dedicated to young local talents. A formula that combines musical quality and free access, making the event accessible to everyone.
At the heart of Music in Village's philosophy is its focus on new generations: alongside the big names, the festival always reserves a space for emerging artists and regional bands, offering them an important stage in front of a large audience. A valuable springboard for the local music scene.
Included in the calendar of events accompanying Pordenone towards Italian Capital of Culture 2027, Music in Village is much more than a series of concerts: it is an identity-defining event that transforms the city park into a large music village, where conviviality and food accompany the listening experience.
From August 26th to 30th, 2026, Music in Village returns to Parco IV Novembre in Pordenone with five evenings of free live music. Among the announced headliners are Alborosie & The Shengen Clan, scheduled for August 26th, and Marlene Kuntz on August 28th with their tour celebrating the 30th anniversary of the album 'Il Vile'.
The Young Corner section on August 30th, dedicated to young local artists, is also confirmed. The festival is organized by Associazione Culturale Complotto Adriatico and is part of the events leading up to Pordenone's designation as Italian Capital of Culture 2027.
All evenings take place at Parco IV Novembre with free admission. The full program, with intermediate evenings still to be confirmed, will be published on the festival's official website.
