The Polenta Taragna Feast
The Polenta Taragna Festival is the gastronomic fair that celebrates one of the symbolic dishes of Bergamasco tradition in Bagnatica, a town in the plain in the province of Bergamo. The event, held in the parking lot of the sports field on Via Portico, offers three days of good food and entertainment in a covered and heated venue.
Flavors of Orobic Cuisine
The absolute star is polenta taragna, offered in numerous variations: with braised meat, mushrooms, sausage, ribs, and skewers. Alongside the main dish, the menu features other specialties of Bergamasco and Lombard tradition:

Live Music and Fun
Every evening, the festival is accompanied by live music, with concerts and tribute bands animating the stage. The covered and heated venue allows you to enjoy the event even with uncertain spring weather, while the inflatable play area for children makes the event suitable for the whole family.

Polenta Taragna Festival — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of the Polenta Taragna Festival in Bagnatica, the second, takes place from April 10 to 12 in the sports field parking lot on Via Portico.
The menu features polenta taragna in numerous variations — with braised meat, mushrooms, sausage, ribs, and skewers — as well as casoncelli, pizzoccheri, and grilled meats. The venue is covered and heated, with an inflatable play area for children. The evenings are enlivened by live music: on Friday, April 10th at 9:30 PM, the Pooh Classic Tribute Band will perform, while Saturday is dedicated to the 883 Cisco Band.

How to get there
Bagnatica can be reached by car from Bergamo via the SS42 or the A4 motorway, Seriate exit. The festival takes place in the sports field parking lot, on Via Portico.
